About the role

Amazon is seeking a detail-oriented Data Support Associate to provide daily and weekly tactical support to the Transportation Operations Management (TOM) Long Term Planning team. This role focuses on executing recurring operational tasks that keep our planning processes running smoothly across the North American Transportation Operations network.

In this role, you will run established models on a set schedule, update reports and dashboards with current data, perform data pulls and basic analysis to support team deep dives, and provide administrative and project support to the planning and execution team. You will escalate issues or anomalies to senior analysts when they fall outside established guidelines. You may be asked to support deep dive analysis with the guidance from senior analysts on the team.

This role requires clear communication skills and the ability to coordinate with stakeholder teams to gather inputs and confirm data. You will work within defined processes and timelines in a fast-paced environment, ensuring consistent and accurate execution of the tasks that support senior leadership decision-making.

  • Maintain and update existing reporting dashboards, metrics artifacts, and analysis tools that drive efficiency within the business.
  • Support operations and business teams by pulling data, refreshing automated reports, and assisting with process improvement implementations as directed.
  • Retrieve and aggregate data from multiple sources, compiling it into clear, digestible formats that enable effective decision-making by senior team members.
