Sr. Supply Chain Product Mgr, Power and Cooling

Do you have a desire to make a major contribution to the future in the rapid growth environment of Cloud Computing? Amazon Web Services is looking for a Supply Chain Product Manager to help build a scalable, predictive, and prescriptive supply chain risk management for our AIS Power and Cooling organization. You will be part of the AIS Power and Cooling new product development team working with Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, Finance, Construction and other partner teams to achieve our goals.
This role requires an individual with excellent knowledge of engineering, supply chain, and manufacturing in a fast paced ever changing environment. You will be responsible integrating across teams to maintain continuity of supply while minimizing supply chain risks. Data-driven decision-making is at the core of Amazon’s culture. You will own building solutions and administering supply chain risk management that enable senior leaders to make critical business decisions.
- Key job responsibilities
- Executes strategic plans that improve service, productivity and quality. Aligned with the overall organizations vision.
- Develop and implement systems of accountability to ensure ongoing, measurable performance improvement
- Understand the requirements of our technical partners and work closely with internal and external new product development teams to lead the supply chain strategy vision and execution.
- Prepare and present detailed data-driven business reviews to senior leadership, focused on supply chain risk management
- Drive strategic supply chain risk reviews and mitigations with internal teams

Basic Qualifications
- 2+ years of program, project or product management, or leading product implementation experience
- 6+ years of related industry experience
- 8+ years of high volume manufacturing operations or sourcing environments experience
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience in data analysis using tools such as Excel, Pivot Tables, SQL, Tableau, or equivalent
- Experience creating an innovative global supply strategy for the organization resulting in a tangible benefit to the business
- Experience leading and defining requirements and driving these across diverse organizations
- Experience in global supply chain management, managing cross-functional teams in a fast-paced consumer electronics product company
- Experience in program, project or product management, or leading product implementation
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field
- Experience in data centers, infrastructure service providers, or related technology companies
- Experience in negotiations with global suppliers with a proven track record in cost reduction
- Experience in procurement practices working with engineering, supply chain and Tier 1 OEM partners
- Experience practicing best-in-class procurement processes (category management, benchmarking, should-cost models, RFX, reverse auction, contracting, or equivalent)

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, Basic Life & AD&D insurance and option for Supplemental life plans, EAP, Mental Health Support, Medical Advice Line, Flexible Spending Accounts, Adoption and Surrogacy Reimbursement coverage), 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
