You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. We are expanding our technician teams within the EMEA regions and have openings for Installation Technicians. This is an entry-level position and a unique opportunity to work in some of the most innovative and fast paced data centers in the world. The Infrastructure Delivery team is responsible for the scaling and physical deployment of new data center infrastructure. As part of that team, you will be primarily tasked with installing cabling and new racks within the data centers. You must be able to perform repetitive tasks and adhere to standard processes and best practices. You will be working in a team environment and must be able to communicate and promote cross-team functionality. You will be responsible for the provisioning and deployment of front-facing connectivity for incoming server capacity in AWS data centers

• Key job responsibilities
• Adhere to security and safety best practices in the data center.
• Install and manage structured cabling infrastructure including fiber optic and copper connections
• Perform advanced troubleshooting of network connectivity issues
• Execute complex installation procedures following AWS standards and best practices
• Coordinate with Infrastructure Delivery teams to ensure seamless capacity deployment
• Maintain accurate documentation and inventory management
• Managing inventory of related materials.
• Adhering to defined escalation processes and standard operating procedures

Required Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of structured cabling systems and network topologies
• Knowledge of network testing equipment and procedures

Physical requirements:

• This position has a physical component and may require working in cramped spaces or elevated locations.
• Manual handling and lifting of equipment may be required (weight limits in
• accordance with regulations)
• Regularly work at heights and from ladders.
• Work in noisy areas with hotter and colder temperatures than standard office environmental conditions.

Basic Qualifications

• High school or equivalent diploma
• Are 18 years of age or older
• Work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required
• Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
• English level B1

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of computer hardware components and operating systems
• STEM classes or vocational course curriculum education
• Experience managing work and priorities through a ticketing system and coordination with Manager
