As an Account Executive within AWS Global Financial Services (GFS), you are driving digital transformations through effective engagement with C-level executives, business development executives, IT leaders, architects, developers, and various lines of businesses for the most strategic Global AWS Accounts. You are establishing Amazon Web Services as the key cloud technology provider across the strategic accounts you manage, promoting adoption of the entire AWS services portfolio to Global Customers.

You deliver business outcomes while guiding them to become more agile, innovative, and efficient. Key job responsibilities
Build relationships with business unit C-suite business and technology leaders to identify, develop, and close significant opportunities that drive innovation and growth for the customer
Foster existing relationships and build new relationships to create new opportunities
Partner with a team of Solutions Architects, Customer Solutions Managers, Professional Services, and Partners to develop and deliver compelling solutions and offers
Contribute to the leadership of a global account team with presence on four continents
Position AWS services ranging from compute, networking, and storage, to serverless, to AI, ML, and Generative AI.
Contribute to critical mechanisms such as weekly and monthly business reviews, pipeline maintenance, and financial management.

About the team
The team is a high performing and customer-obsessed sales team covering the largest European-based global financial institutions. This role will focus on a Global Investment Bank
Basic Qualifications
- 7+ years of direct sales or business development in software, cloud or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives experience
- 8+ years of business development, partner development, sales or alliances management experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in the financial services industry or with financial services customers
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working within a global company, with multi-country responsibilities

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments, restricted stock units (RSUs), and sales incentives. Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, Basic Life & AD&D insurance and option for Supplemental life plans, EAP, Mental Health Support, Medical Advice Line, Flexible Spending Accounts, Adoption and Surrogacy Reimbursement coverage), 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
