In this role you will be a key member of the team providing the tools and systems needed to design, build, and operate the organization’s services. You will own and operate infrastructure critical to Amazon Leo including engineering applications, AWS Cloud Infrastructure, and local servers. Our ideal candidate is highly autonomous, possesses strong written and verbal communication skills, strong project management and time management skills and has a successful track record of delivering large-scale engineering projects. The desire and ability to work in a fast paced, collaborative environment is essential.

• Key job responsibilities
• Design build and maintain infrastructure as code for our hybrid-cloud Siemens engineering applications
• Monitor system performance, ensuring uptime, scalability, and reliability of applications and Infrastructure
• Analyze current infrastructure capacity and forecast future needs to support organizational growth.
• Day to day support of existing Siemens applications on AWS and on-premise
• Automate Siemens deployment and administration of Siemens engineering tools
• Drive an environment of continuous improvement and operational excellence,
• Anticipate bottlenecks, make trade-offs, and encourage risk-taking to maximize business benefit
• Actively participate in Agile/Scrum development processes, contributing to sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings

You will collaborate with and learn from some of the strongest software, security, and infrastructure engineers in the industry, and leverage Amazon's ample resources to innovate on behalf of our customers.

Basic Qualifications

• Experience leading the design, automation, deployment, and support of large-scale infrastructure
• Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust
• Experience with Linux/Unix
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines build processes

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with distributed systems at scale

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
