The Prime Air Electric Propulsion team is seeking a highly motivated Manufacturing Test Engineer with strong background in test automation, hardware/software integration, and electric powertrain systems. The engineer will design and develop automated test solutions for drone components, build scalable test frameworks, and lead validation efforts.

Key job responsibilities

• Key Responsibilities include
• Developing Python-based tools for system validation and automation
• Creating automated test frameworks for integrated hardware/software devices
• Leveraging AWS cloud services for test infrastructure
• Writing Bash scripts for test workflows

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in computer science, electrical engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of equivalent experience
• Experience with test plan development, building the necessary test bench infrastructure, developing tests and verifying the design
• Experience with AWS or cloud technologies
• 4+ years of hardware design and validation of components, subsystems and systems experience
• Experience with Python for scripting, automation, and test development

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in embedded wireless systems, or experience with general troubleshooting/debugging of hardware
• Experience in automation via Bash/shell scripting and Perl/Python programming
• Experience with software or hardware troubleshooting and device connectivity
• Familiarity with system architecture, hardware selection tradeoff analysis, and integration planning

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
