FSI Digital Natives Solutions Architects (SA) work closely with technical decision maker, co-founders, engineers and developers to help them make the most of the Cloud. They are at the crossroads of business and technology and engage with organizations at all stages of cloud adoption. Our Solutions Architects also take a leading role in creating and presenting technical content and best practices.
THE ROLE:
You will collaborate with customers, partners and other AWS teams to craft architectures, proof of concepts and demonstrations of our platform that work back from customer's business needs and accelerate the adoption of appropriate AWS technology. You will help shape and design solutions covering a spread of tech concerns like security, tenant isolation in compute and storage, hybrid networking, CI/CD to reduce time to market, rightsizing and auto-scaling of infrastructure, purpose-built databases to name a few. The ability to learn new technology and develop industry relevant architectures and convey business value is critical to the role.

- Key job responsibilities
- Work directly with customers to accelerate their projects and recommend best-practice cloud architectures in line with their long-term business outcomes
- Drive technical solutions discussions with your customers, diving deep into the details to solve complex technical business problems and use your knowledge to craft scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures
- Scope and own each customer engagement, with attention towards clear and well- defined objectives and success criteria
- Define and execute on the strategy by engaging highly technical teams (Solutions Architects, Technical Account Managers, Customer Solution Managers and consulting/managed services partners)
- Act as a thought leader in the wider community, playing a key role in educating, sharing best practices, presenting at events, writing white papers, blogs, and running workshops

Basic Qualifications
- 6+ years of design/implementation/operations/consulting with distributed applications experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
- Knowledge of AWS services
