The Ring team is looking for a passionate and talented Android Software Development Engineer who has experience building world-class mobile apps. You will be responsible for developing mobile applications that interact seamlessly with our devices and delight our customers.

• Key job responsibilities

• Lead the technical design and building of major features for Ring mobile applications

• Lead the development of our application architecture and resolve architecture deficiencies

• Develop features and solve complex problems using Android Studio, Kotlin, AI, and a variety of other tooling

• Develop with the performance, quality, and responsiveness of in mind

• Collaborate with a cross-functional agile teams to create, and deliver new features

• Ensure operational excellence by resolving application issues and fix bugs

• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization

• Use AI to deliver features efficiently - this can include creating features, unit tests, generate code, documents, tickets, resolve defects, optimize code, and much more

• Develop the best in your fellow builders

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
