The Amazon Community Impact (ACI) Education team considers students from underserved communities as its key customers and aims to addresses educational equity challenges by leveraging Amazon's unique assets to create meaningful opportunities for them.

Career Tours
are free, interactive, virtual field trips that inspire students to pursue careers of the future by exploring Amazon’s technologies, helping students envision their future career possibilities.

The ACI Education team is looking for a passionate, results-oriented, and innovative Sr. Product Manager to scale its career tours product. This high-visibility role leverages Amazon's technology, employees, and expertise to inspire students from underserved communities by using Amazon's businesses and employees to demystify careers that exist in the real world and to bridge the gap between classroom learning and career possibilities.

Your work will help connect what students learn in school to how these concepts are applied in the real world, inspiring them to explore new career paths.

The ideal candidate will be a strong product manager with a high bar for what we offer to our customers. They will have proven expertise in identifying and influencing Amazon teams to co-build high impact products. They would also have expertise in managing concurrent workstreams with competing priorities, making data based tradeoff decisions, and working with external vendors.

  • Key job responsibilities
  • Own and execute the Career Tours product vision and roadmap by understanding customer needs while making strategic decisions on content types, formats, and product direction
  • Identify and onboard Amazon businesses to participate in Career Tours, from being featured in tours to co-building experiences
  • Collaborate with internal teams and employees to develop content and authentically represents their work and careers while resonating with customers
  • Lead end-to-end product development, including defining requirements, and delivering finished products by collaborating with internal teams and external vendors
  • Partner with data and marketing teams on roadmap alignment and promotional strategies
  • Report product performance, roadmap progress, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership through business reviews and operational planning

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders
  • Experience with Amazon devices and digital products
  • Experience in delivering video production for educational purpose, advertising or tv

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, Basic Life & AD&D insurance and option for Supplemental life plans, EAP, Mental Health Support, Medical Advice Line, Flexible Spending Accounts, Adoption and Surrogacy Reimbursement coverage), 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
