AWS is seeking an experienced Principal Enterprise Account Manager to lead and continue to expand the business with one of our company’s largest and most innovative CPG customers.

The Account Manager will be a key member of the team responsible for providing business leadership and creative direction for this highly visible customer. You will build and maintain broad relationships in the account, develop and manage opportunities, and lead a large team of extended resources. You will define the executive relationship strategy within the account; including building a strong working relationship with the AWS senior leadership team for executive sponsorship, executive business reviews, and shaping go-to-market opportunities.

Do you look around corners for ways to engage and service customers? Are you passionate about using technology to solve business problems that have big customer impact?

Come build the future with us!

AWS values diverse experiences. Even if you do not meet all of the qualifications and skills listed in the 8 description, we encourage candidates to apply.

Why AWS?
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is the world’s most comprehensive and broadly adopted cloud platform. We pioneered cloud computing and never stopped innovating — that’s why customers from the most successful startups to Global 500 companies trust our robust suite of products and services to power their businesses.

Inclusive Team Culture:

Here at AWS, it’s in our nature to learn and be curious. Our employee-led affinity groups foster a culture of inclusion that empower us to be proud of our differences.

Work/Life Balance
We value work-life harmony. Achieving success at work should never come at the expense of sacrifices at home, which is why we strive for flexibility as part of our working culture. When we feel supported in the workplace and at home, there’s nothing we can’t achieve in the cloud.

Key job responsibilities
Lead and direct the AWS customer account team, operating with significant autonomy and high judgment to set vision, drive strategy, and deliver results in ambiguous, complex environments.

Build and maintain trusted advisor relationships with CxO and Line of Business leaders, defining executive relationship strategies, coordinating executive business reviews, and aligning stakeholders toward coherent, long-term solutions.

Collaborate across internal AWS teams and external SI and ISV partners to deliver the best solutions for customers, influencing team priorities and business strategies through data-driven contributions and scalable best practices.

Communicate with authority and clarity across all channels — including writing and presenting executive briefing documents to the most senior leaders — with the credibility to present decisions to leaders multiple levels above and build consensus across globally diverse audiences.

About the team
CPG is a team of bar raising field sellers who work toward the collective goal of solving challenges and innovating new ways to enable our customers to achieve their desired outcomes for their customers. We are at the forefront of emerging technology that may seem unimaginable now, but will be tomorrow's standard.
