As a Sr. BIE, you'll drive the development of data pipelines, analytics, instrumentation and experimentation of real-time Agentic AI solutions that power our next-generation communication features. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, sciences, design, and engineering, to design and deliver innovative solutions that leverage these AI technologies to enable seamless, intelligent communication experiences. You'll also lead the integration of these advanced AI systems into Alexa's core data ecosystem, ensuring a friction free data driven decision making.

• Key job responsibilities
• Work closely with Alexa Connections product and engineering teams to understand their challenges and provide analysis to guide decision making.
• Own data gathering, manipulation, and storage as well as synthesis and modeling, problem solving, and communication of insights and recommendations.
• Develop key metrics and performance indicators to measure overall performance and provide foundation for continuous improvement.
• Learn and understand a broad range of Alexa's data resources and know how, when, and which to use.
• Build AI driven self-service reporting platforms, establishing automated processes for large scale data analysis.
• Understand and write high quality queries to retrieve and analyze data (ongoing reporting and ad-hoc requests).
• Define analytical approaches and metrics strategy to uncover new insights and formulate recommendations that improve supply chain performance and efficiency.

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of SQL experience
• Experience programming to extract, transform and clean large (multi-TB) data sets
• Experience with theory and practice of design of experiments and statistical analysis of results
• Experience with AWS technologies
• Experience in scripting for automation (e.g. Python) and advanced SQL skills.
• Experience with theory and practice of information retrieval, data science, machine learning and data mining

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working directly with business stakeholders to translate between data and business needs
• Experience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership

The base salary range for this position is listed below. As a total compensation company, Amazon's package may include other elements such as sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
