In this role, you'll design end-to-end Prime customer journeys, accessed via agentic UI, in partnership with benefit teams including Alexa and Rufus. You will be part of a cross-functional pod transforming complex AI capabilities into clear, usable, and elegant customer AI powered experiences for 200M+ Prime members worldwide.
You'll partner closely with product, engineering, and applied science teams to deliver high-quality agentic experiences that balance bar raising craft, user needs, technical feasibility, and business goals. We value designers who think like builders—moving quickly from concept to prototype.

Apply rapid prototyping approaches, including code-based and AI-assisted methods (e.g., vibe coding environments), to accelerate concept exploration and validation
Design end-to-end Prime AI features and customer journeys, from discovery through launch, iteration, and scale
Translate AI capabilities into intuitive conversational design patterns that build user confidence and trust
Make Prime benefits more accessible and personalized through AI-assisted experiences
Leverage AI-powered design tools and rapid prototyping to accelerate exploration and validation
Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and applied scientists across Prime, Alexa, and Rufus
Define reusable design patterns and documentation to ensure consistency and scalability across Prime's AI experiences, in alignment with partner teams
A day in the life
Your day might look like this:
Design Systems — Audit conversational flows against Prime, Alexa and Stores design systems, flag gaps, and align with partner design teams.
Stakeholder Presentation — Present designs to xfn partners and leadership, walk through rationale and tradeoffs, and align on next steps.
Engineering Collaboration — Sync with engineering to define the knowledge base for key customer use cases, mapping content, intents, and data sources.
Research & Validation — Review customer usability study findings and document recommendations for the next design iteration.
Customer Advocacy — Identify a friction point in customer study, prototype a solution using AI tools, and share with xfn partners.
