Amazon EU International Technology (EU INTech) focuses on accelerating the EU Stores business by developing solutions for end customers, sellers and vendors to support Amazon’s flywheel. We address the specific needs of EU customers while ensuring that our solutions scale worldwide.

The role involves close partnership with senior product managers, tech leaders, and partner teams drive customer-focused innovation impacting millions of customers around the world. You collaborate with designers and researchers to generate innovative ideas and simplify experiences across Amazon. You are responsible for relentlessly advocating for best-in-class CX. You use design expertise (user interface design, branding, interaction models, prototypes, etc.) to create data-informed design solutions. You generate and synthesize diverse types of data to improve products and features.

  • Key job responsibilities
  • Work design solutions from early concept through final implementation and iteration.
  • Define, develop, and socialize the vision for innovative new solutions.
  • Work across multiple organizations to identify overlaps and efficiencies in design and product thinking.
  • Use data and customer insights to confidently defend design solutions with senior leaders.
  • Promote collaboration and facilitate communication with stakeholders across diverse disciplines and geographies.
  • Foster a customer-obsessed design culture by sharing best practices and influencing product strategy.
  • Use business requirements and customer research to assist in developing scenarios, use cases, and high-level requirements.
  • Use systems-level design thinking to drive design solutions that scale.
  • Develop high level and/or detailed storyboards, mock-ups, and prototypes to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience in delivering design solutions for projects of large scope and complexity
  • Knowledge of usability principles and techniques
  • Have an online portfolio or samples of work on resume, demonstrating experience creating great end-to-end, user-centered design solutions and patterns, across desktop and mobile devices
  • Experience designing and prototyping with tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, or similar

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience acquiring user data (e.g., conducting usability studies, performing user research) and creating personas and journey maps
  • Experience designing customer facing retail products
