About the role

At Amazon MGM Studios, we produce high-quality original content across Spanish-speaking Latin America, spanning productions in Mexico, Colombia, Chile, and Argentina.

Our team is passionate about storytelling that resonates with audiences across the region.

We are looking for a Production Coordinator who is passionate about the entertainment industry and thrives in the coordination and organization of large-scale production and post-production teams. This role requires someone who can manage multiple work-streams, maintain attention to detail across complex timelines, and support the seamless execution of our original productions.

The ideal candidate brings a love for content creation combined with strong organizational skills, the ability to coordinate across cross-functional teams, and a proactive approach to problem-solving in fast-paced production environments.

Location: Mexico City, Mexico

  • Key job responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day administrative operations of the Production and Post-Production team
  • Organize and coordinate inter-departmental calls, ensuring alignment across teams
  • Maintain documentation, filing systems, and team archives in an organized and up-to-date manner
  • Update and manage multiple internal platforms and tools used by the team
  • Arrange and schedule team meetings, prepare agendas, and track follow-ups and action items
  • Leverage AI tools to simplify, automate, and streamline team tasks and workflows
  • Provide general administrative support to ensure smooth team operations
  • Follow up on meeting outcomes and ensure deadlines and commitments are met
  • Support cross-functional coordination as needed to keep projects on track

Basic Qualifications

  • 2+ years of studio or production company assistant experience
  • 1+ years of on-set physical production experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Knowledge of location specific production guidelines and procedures
  • Speak, write, and read fluently in English
  • Experience with Movie Magic Budgeting

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing events/meetings in a global company
