Treasury Analyst, EMEA Regional Treasury Center (RTC)

Amazon is seeking a Treasury Analyst to join our global cash management team in Luxembourg, our European Headquarter. The Treasury department is a fast-paced, team-focused, dynamic environment that offers many challenging opportunities for developing one's financial, analytical and Treasury skillsets. This role requires Treasury operational experience, track record of process improvements and project management experience.

• Key job responsibilities
• Manage short term liquidity across EMEA entities, including support intercompany funding and settlement activities;
• Manage all EMEA trade finance inquires, including execution of bank guarantees and provide advisory to entities;
• Responsible for developing reporting and metrics to measure operational defects and identify improvement opportunities;
• Collaborate well with cross functional teams and external business partners;
• Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing in ways that are meaningful and useful to internal business partners

Basic Qualifications

• Experience in tax, finance or a related analytical field
• Experience in identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan, or experience communicating results to senior leadership
• Experience delivering complex projects with prior ownership of the operation of a mission-critical team and/or product
• Cash Management experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in data analysis and leveraging analytics to make decisions
• Experience leveraging AI tools or automation technologies to streamline treasury operations, reduce manual workflows, or enhance decision-making efficiency
