Amazon Leo is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit. Its mission is to bring fast, affordable broadband to unserved and underserved communities around the world. Amazon Leo will help close the digital divide by delivering fast, affordable broadband to a wide range of customers in places without reliable connectivity.
The Amazon Leo business operations team is looking for a Senior Partner Development Manager to join our Global Enterprise Services organization, supporting our rapidly growing partner ecosystem across Asia Pacific and Japan. You will serve as a primary technical point of contact for our strategic reseller partners, technology solution distributors (TSDs), and systems integrators who deliver Amazon Leo satellite connectivity to end customers across multiple verticals including maritime, energy, enterprise, and transportation.
This is not a sales role; instead, it offers you the opportunity to serve as the technical lead and 'voice of the partner' for organizations ranging from regional resellers to Fortune 500 systems integrators across Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Southeast Asia, India, and the broader APJ region. You will provide dedicated technical support and guidance to ensure partners maintain high technical standards in their Amazon Leo service delivery, enabling them to successfully deploy, manage, and support satellite connectivity for their customers. Your technical acumen and partner-facing skills will enable you to effectively represent Amazon Leo within partner environments, driving discussions with partner technical teams regarding service implementation, integration challenges, support escalations, and technical optimization. You will provide proactive technical guidance to help partners plan and implement solutions using best practices, while keeping their Amazon Leo deployments operationally healthy and resilient. Additionally, you will coordinate partner onboarding and integration projects, applying project management skills to ensure successful technical delivery across the APJ partner ecosystem.
This position may require access to information, technology, or hardware that is subject to export control laws and regulations, including the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Employment in this position is contingent upon obtaining any required export licenses or other approvals from the United States government. As such, the successful candidate must be eligible to obtain any necessary export licenses or approvals based on their nationality, citizenship, and any other factors considered by the applicable export control regulations.
Key job responsibilities

Coordinate partner onboarding and integration projects, managing timelines, dependencies, and technical milestones across multiple partner accounts in the APJ region
Manage technical support processes for partner-reported issues, ensuring rapid resolution and maintaining partner confidence in Amazon Leo technical capabilities
Coordinate engineering support resources and drive technical optimization initiatives across the APJ partner ecosystem
Engage partners and their field teams in technical workshops and focused meetings to communicate technical best practices and post-sales support protocols
Develop and refine partner-facing technical collateral, integration guides, and troubleshooting documentation
Work closely with Partner Account Managers (PAMs) to align technical operations with business objectives while maintaining Amazon Leo's high standards for system performance
Identify opportunities to improve partner technical capabilities through training, certification programs, and technical enablement initiatives tailored to APJ market requirements
Coordinate with Customer Delivery Engineers (CDEs) and Customer Delivery Managers (CDMs) for complex partner integrations requiring custom technical solutions or project coordination
Enable rapid problem-solving protocols through direct operational integration and coordination with internal engineering teams
Monitor partner service delivery quality, technical KPIs, and operational health metrics to drive continuous improvement across the APJ region
About the team
As a member of Global Enterprise Services (GES), you will be joining the Customer Delivery (CD) team, a customer-facing regional group of experts that serves as the technical execution engine behind all B2B direct and indirect customers. You will work specifically with our APJ partner ecosystem, supporting resellers, TSDs, and systems integrators who deliver Amazon Leo services to end customers across Asia Pacific and Japan.
