In this role we are looking for a passionate and talented Software Development Engineer 2 who can deliver results with a team of smart engineers working on innovative and mission critical software and services. You will have an opportunity to make a large impact on the design, architecture, and development of consumer products. You will be responsible for owning large-scale, multi-tiered, distributed software applications and tools. • Key job responsibilities
• Ideate, design, and implement solutions for improving the mobile shopping CX
• Partner with core Retail counterparts to advocate for B2B customers and build custom solutions
• Maintain OEE standards and be on top of ever changing landscape for mobile infrastructure within Amazon
• Usage of design patterns, re-use and efficient coding best practices to deliver high-quality work on tight schedules.
• Partner with global development team(s) for successful software delivery.
• Design and develop end-to-end solutions that enhance software architecture and automate solutions.
• Leverage evolving tech to implement solutions
• Build reliable, high-performance Web Services, APIs, Micro-Services, Micro-Frontends, and SDKs that improve customers' experience
• Learn from others and help grow those in your team to achieve their best
• Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Mentor SDE 1s and guide them for using best practices

Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• 3+ years of Video Games Industry (supporting title Development, Release, or Live Ops) experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
