Role: The role will be part of Amazon Last Mile operations for Turkey. The role will be a mix of strategic thinking (planning for the next 2-3 years on the key focus areas), tactical overview (planning for sales event/peaks, ramping up of capacities) and operational execution (day to day operations focus to ensure high bar customer experience).
The role would involve the following:
1. Launch and expand OTR/UTR operations for AMZL in line with different channel models.
2. Lead the daily operations, drive operational excellence while at the same time planning and managing sales events/peaks
3. Responsible for key metrics on safety, people, operations, costs and quality
4. Support overal Turkey last mile network strategy based on business needs
We are looking for somebody who is keen on working in fast-paced environment, thinking of new and innovative solutions to increase the bar on customer experience, while also willing to go into daily metrics and deep dive into root causes. The role is a mix of strategic, tactical and operational aspects.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 10 years of Logistics/supply chain/operations experience
- Strong track record of successfully delivering quantifiable results with operational excellence mindset
- Proven analytical thinking, project management skills, exceptional organizational abilities, as well as great attention to detail
- Think clearly, analyze quantitatively, problem-solve, support and adhere to scope of requirements and, above all, prioritize effectively
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to confidently liaise with stakeholders at all levels of seniority
- Strong Excel and data analysis skills are required, along with demonstrated problem solving and analytical capabilities,
- Able to work flexible, non-traditional schedules and shifts; you always commit the time required to get the job done
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to lead through ambiguity and scale
- Prior experience or use of Lean/Six Sigma/Operational Excellence
- Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to handle changing priorities, strong networking skills with external stakeholders
