Senior Event Operations Lead , Strategic Events and Executive Programs
About the role
Amazon Ads' Global Strategic Events (STEEP) team is seeking an operationally excellent and business-minded Senior Event Operations Lead to drive production oversight and business affairs across our growing portfolio of marquee live, virtual, and hybrid events.
This role is central to ensuring our events are delivered on time, on budget, and at the highest quality bar — with ownership spanning vendor and agency management, event production oversight, budget and financial operations, strategic planning, and logistics coordination. You will serve as the connective tissue between internal stakeholders and external production partners, ensuring accountability, financial rigor, and seamless execution.
This is a high-visibility individual contributor role reporting to the Global Event Operations Lead. The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguity — proactively identifying needs, bringing ideas without waiting to be directed, and operating with full autonomy. You will influence without authority, galvanize cross-functional teams, and bring the operational leadership needed to manage complex vendor ecosystems and production workstreams in a fast-paced, document-driven environment.
