About the role

Amazon Devices is looking for a Designer to join the Brand Studio team. Brand Studio helps bring new device offerings to market—products, services, brands, and categories—by creating digital assets that engage and attract customers on Amazon.com and in Retail Stores.
In this role, you will create digital assets for Amazon.com, working closely with a global team of visual designers, creative and art directors, writers, and production partners. Your primary focus will be scaling design deliverables in a visually compelling and effective way for both internal and external stakeholders. You will collaborate with product and marketing teams, as well as the larger creative team, to bring ideas to life that drive new business.
The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in production design, demonstrates proficiency with templates and brand guidelines, and is experienced in delivering large-scale digital campaigns. You must thrive in an iterative environment, accept feedback constructively, and balance speed with precision. Strong organizational skills, web expertise, typography, and acute attention to detail are essential.
We’re looking for a designer who blends creativity with technical expertise to optimize workflows, deliver high-quality assets across channels, and help improve production efficiency at scale.

  • Key job responsibilities
  • Create merchandising and marketing campaigns that elevate Amazon’s device brand across multiple online and offline channels.
  • Collaborate with internal Amazon clients to define standards for different types of requests.
  • Contribute to team knowledge of production best practices and explore technological solutions that improve workflows.
  • Apply strong design principles that drive successful campaign execution.
  • Communicate design rationale clearly and respectfully to stakeholders.
  • Manage multiple projects with overlapping deadlines while maintaining accuracy and quality.
  • Build trust and credibility with peers and stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience developing successful marketing or communications campaigns
  • Online portfolio demonstrating expertise in digital marketing, retail merchandising, and production design.
  • Bachelor's degree in design or 3+ years of experience in digital marketing, e-commerce, or retail design.
  • Mastery of design principles, typography, layout, and grid structures. High proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design, and Figma.
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, and ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Solid understanding of production design processes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with image-optimizing applications to create online user experiences.
  • Passion for design systems and continuous improvement in design technologies and processes.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered design tools, automation workflows, or machine learning applications that enhance production efficiency.
