About the role

The Senior Creative Strategist, Live Content Lead (EU) within Twitch's Brand Partnership Studio (BPS) will serve as the strategic and creative leader for live content programming and commercialisation across Sports, Music, and Entertainment verticals in EU5 markets (UK, DE, FR, IT, ES). This role sits at the intersection of business development, creative strategy, and content partnerships, leveraging audience insights, cultural trends, and marketplace demand to develop original live content programmes and forge new content partnerships that can be scaled and commercialised across European markets through Amazon Ads.

As the EU owner of the Live Content verticals (Sports, Music & Entertainment) within BPS, this leader will drive the development of new programming formats, cultivate relationships with Twitch Global Sports Lead, internal partners at Prime Video and Amazon Music, and build an external network of IP owners, rights holders, sports leagues, music labels, promoters, and entertainment brands. They will collaborate closely with local EU Go-To-Market and Sales teams to deliver a cohesive EU strategy brought to life with market-specific programmes and tactics.

Key job responsibilities
Own Live Content Verticals across EU: Act as the Centre of Excellence for Sports, Music, and Entertainment programming on Twitch across EU5, setting creative vision, strategy, and operational frameworks within Brand Partnership Studio.

Lead Internal Partnerships: Build relationships with Prime Video Sports and Amazon Music to develop collaborative programming leveraging Amazon's European sports rights, music catalogues, and entertainment properties.

Develop External Partnerships: Cultivate partnerships with European sports leagues, music labels, promoters, festivals, and entertainment rights holders, structuring deals commercialised through Amazon Ads.

Create Original Programming: Develop new Twitch originals across Sports, Music, and Entertainment, from creator-led alt-casts and interactive shows to live music experiences, with annual slates tailored to each EU market.

Innovate on Viewership Experiences: Pioneer interactive formats that unlock new revenue opportunities for Amazon Ads and differentiate Twitch for sports, music, and entertainment audiences in Europe.

Drive Commercialisation: Partner with EU5 Go-To-Market and Sales teams to package, price, and sell live content opportunities, ensuring commercial viability and advertiser demand alignment

Manage Execution & Localisation: Build scalable processes across EU5, ensuring strategic consistency while empowering local teams to tailor programmes to market-specific audiences and cultural moments.

Basic Qualifications

  • Knowledge of In Design, Photoshop, Illustrator, Keynote
  • Understanding of the European sports, music, and entertainment landscape, including key leagues, rights structures, cultural tentpole moments, and market nuances across EU5
  • 8+ years of experience in content strategy, creative programming, business development, or partnerships within sports, music, or entertainment industries
  • Proven track record of developing and commercialising original content programmes or live experiences at scale, ideally within a digital/streaming platform or media environment
  • Understanding of the Twitch/livestreaming ecosystem, creator culture, and interactive content formats (or strong adjacent experience in digital-first content platforms)
  • Experience structuring and negotiating content partnerships or licensing deals with external rights holders and brands

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience leading creative development of innovative creative from concept to delivery
  • Experience presenting creative concepts effectively to senior executives
  • Experience managing multiple projects and meeting aggressive deadlines
  • Existing network of IP owners, rights holders, and/or content partners across the European sports, music, or entertainment ecosystem (e.g., leagues, federations, labels, promoters, talent agencies, production companies)
