Amazon Furusato, the marketplace for Japan's Hometown Tax Program (Furusato Nozei), is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Marketing Manager to lead promotional and event marketing initiatives. This role requires building marketing momentum from scratch in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

  • Key job responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive promotional and event marketing strategies that create multiple entry points on-Amazon and off-Amazon to drive awareness and customer engagement
  • Lead end-to-end campaign management including incentive programs, seasonal promotions, and communication creative strategy across multiple channels
  • Collaborate extensively with Legal, PR, Public Policy, Product, Sales, and leadership to ensure seamless execution of marketing initiatives
  • Build scalable marketing frameworks and innovative engagement programs that support business growth, analyzing performance to drive data-driven optimization

Basic Qualifications

  • 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
  • Experience leading go-to-market for consumer software or hardware product launches

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using any of SQL or other analytical tools for conducting data analysis
  • Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting
