You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You’ll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers.   • Key job responsibilities
  • Hire, develop, build and manage a team of Data Center Technicians, including the management of individual and team performance.
  • Lead and supervise the team to be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting on systems, hardware and network devices issues.
  • Ensure effective and efficient management of data center operations including ticket queue management, 7/24 shift arrangement and hardware logistics.
  • Inspire and guide improvement in team process, technology innovation and automation.
  • Ensure all operational KPIs and metrics are being measured and met.
  • Manage outage by severity level and act as the call leader.
  • Be passionate about the quality and quantity of services being provided, and continuously strive to improve our Customer Experience.

Basic Qualifications

  • In-depth knowledge and experience of change, problem and incident management
  • Demonstrated communication skill in presentation, open discussion, team coaching
  • Speak, write, and read fluently in English and Mandarin
  • Understanding in Financial budgeting, Capex and Opex concepts
  • 2+ years of people management experience in IT industry

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of information technology infrastructure domains such as compute server platforms, storage server platforms, server components, network devices, technologies and architectures, IT service delivery principles and best practices
  • Experience in project management including resource planning, managing schedules, reporting project status and prioritizing tasks
  • Cumulative experiences in Data Center Operations or similar roles in a mission critical environment
  • ITIL Foundation, PMP, Lean, Six Sigma and/or Risk related certifications
