The ideal candidate is a customer obsessed marketer who can think strategically and execute flawlessly. You are always eager to experiment based on customer data and insight to make campaigns and marketing investment recommendations.

We are seeking a detail-oriented marketer who likes to work across multiple payment programs products and marketing channels to deliver personalized best-in-class communication to customers. A marketing professional who can deal with a high level of ambiguity can better fit with the organization.

Verbal and written communication in both Japanese and English are must.

  • Key job responsibilities

  • Develop marketing plans to share focus areas and execution roadmap.

  • Own initiatives end to end, working with cross functional teams legal, finance, product, design, data science, and bank partners to optimize, execute and deliver campaigns.

  • Work with internal partner teams such as Sales, Product, Prime, Amazon Advertising, and devices, to experiment in new and existing marketing channels on Amazon.co.jp.

  • Create on-brand, best in class content, tailored to appropriate customers and effectively build acquisition campaigns for our credit products.

  • Manage internal and external design and research agencies to create marketing campaigns.

  • Analyze the performance of campaigns, identify next actions and share results of campaigns with senior management teams and stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications

  • 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
  • Experience managing and measuring marketing performance in various channels
  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion
  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
  • Both Japanese & English language at business level or above (verbal and written communication)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing external partners to develop marketing programs
  • Experience presenting ideas to various levels of an organization to gain support for initiatives
