The Program Manager of Merchandise Presentation Capabilities supports execution of Whole Foods Market's multi-year strategy for advancing Merchandise Presentation planning capabilities and driving adoption across merchandising, product management, and technology teams. This role manages implementation of capability development initiatives that enable continuous improvement for assortment relevancy, serving as a key contributor to Worldwide Grocery Stores strategy at Whole Food Market.

- Key job responsibilities
- Supports execution of multi-year capability roadmap strategy
- Manages implementation and optimization of software solutions for assortment planning
- Delivers quantifiable KPI improvements for assortment planning initiatives (e.g., forecast accuracy, inventory turns, assortment productivity)
- Supports development and implementation of assortment life-cycle processes
- Maintains relationships with third-party partners
- Identifies capability gaps and supports development roadmap through Operational Planning business case ownership.
- Implements data integrity mechanisms and measurement for data inputs and outputs
- Supports monthly business review practice for key stakeholders to track performance KPIs
- Models and reinforces Whole Foods Market values and culture

- Identifies interdependencies across markets, customers, partners, and programs to support long-term growth opportunities

Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- 3+ years of project management experience
- Experience in problem solving and delivering results
- Experience working with data and leveraging analytics to make decisions
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience handling ambiguous or undefined challenges through strong problem solving abilities
- Experience prior success in driving execution of large-scale project plans with multiple teams in support of business goals
- Experience equally comfortable building strategic marketing plans and executing at a tactical level
- Understanding of the grocery retail industry and the business models of key strategic partners and competitors
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including ability to write clear, persuasive narratives and formal documentation (roadmaps, status updates, strategic papers)
- Proven ability to work under pressure, prioritize work, and balance a portfolio of programs
- Passion for sustainability, win-win supplier relationships, and world-class retail

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, Basic Life & AD&D insurance and option for Supplemental life plans, EAP, Mental Health Support, Medical Advice Line, Flexible Spending Accounts, Adoption and Surrogacy Reimbursement coverage), 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
