Account Manager - New Seller Management (Singapore/Malaysia/Thailand Sellers)

Amazon Global Selling is seeking a dynamic and innovative Account Manager to join our Vietnam-based Southeast Asia hub, focusing on recruiting and onboarding new sellers from Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand. This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of seller acquisition and AI innovation, helping businesses across three ASEAN markets launch and scale their presence on Amazon's global marketplaces.
As part of our offshore model, you'll be pioneering new ways of working that combine mass seller engagement with advanced AI tools to maximize impact. You'll help new sellers navigate their launch journey while being at the forefront of AI-powered seller recruitment innovation in the region.
Key job responsibilities
- Recruit and Onboard New Sellers
- Identify and prospect potential SG/MY/TH sellers to join Amazon Global Selling programs
- Guide new sellers through registration, onboarding, and initial product launch processes, drive feature adoption to improve customer experience
- Monitor seller performance metrics and work with sellers to achieve operational excellence
- Provide coaching on best practices to optimize selection, listings, pricing, inventory, and advertising strategies
- Account Management and Relationship Building
- Serve as primary point of contact for a cohort of new sellers, delivering consultative support via one to one and one to many approach
- Proactively identify and address issues that may impact new seller launch success and become a trusted advisor for their Amazon business
- Escalate complex issues to appropriate teams while maintaining seller satisfaction
- Program Execution and Collaboration
- Execute structured campaigns focused on seller acquisition and early-stage seller development
- Maintain accurate seller records and track recruitment and engagement outcomes in internal systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive new seller success
- Leverage AI-powered tools to enhance productivity and seller coverage effectiveness
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- 2+ years of sales, account management, or new customer acquisition experience, preferably in e-commerce, online services, or retail industries
- Demonstrated success in exceeding acquisition targets using a consultative, solutions-focused approach
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data-driven decision making
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Strong learning agility and genuine interest in AI technologies and their applications
- Comfortable working with international and cross-cultural teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with global e-commerce or marketplace platforms
- Mandarin or Thai language skills are a plus
- Experience using analytical tools, marketing tools, productivity tools, and online collaboration platforms
- Previous experience supporting sellers or businesses in Singapore, Malaysia, or Thailand markets
