AI capabilities have fundamentally shifted how enterprises think about security — CISOs are more engaged than ever, and customer demand for AI-era security guidance has surged. We are seeking a Security Solutions Architect to join the SSO Security and Compliance team, dedicated to helping customers navigate AI security challenges, adopt AWS security services, and strengthen their cloud security posture. This role will serve as a trusted security advisor to customers across the CMHK, translating complex security threats into actionable AWS solutions while driving security services adoption and revenue growth.

Key job responsibilities
AI Security Enablement: Lead the "Be Ready for AI Security" program execution — delivering SHIP Assessments (Security Health Improvement Program), security workshops, and AI security best practices to customers concerned about agentic AI threats

AI Security Solutions: Help customers securely adopt generative AI technologies by providing guidance on Bedrock data protection, Guardrails, Agent Core Identity, and AI security compliance (EU AI Act, China GenAI regulations)

Secure AI Development Guidance: Enable customers to build AI applications securely from Day 1, covering data privacy in training pipelines, model access control, prompt injection defense, agent identity propagation, and output filtering across the full AI development lifecycle

AI-Enhanced Threat Defense: Help customers prepare for and respond to AI-powered attacks where adversaries use AI to automate vulnerability discovery, generate sophisticated exploits, and scale social engineering — guiding adoption of AWS defensive AI capabilities (Glasswing-enhanced Guard Duty, Security Agent, agentic remediation) to match attacker speed

Cross-team Collaboration: Work closely with account teams, compliance specialists, partners (Pro Serve, ISV partners), and the global Security Services Sales Initiative pods to convert security engagements into launched opportunities

About the team
The SSO Security and Compliance team is a specialized group within AWS whose mission is to earn customers' trust to drive migration and increase stickiness, enhance customers' security posture, and accelerate their compliance journey.

What we do:

Compliance Support: End-to-end compliance guidance for customers going global (C2G) — covering GDPR, E.O. 14117, MLPS 3.0, EU AI Act, and 30+ regulatory frameworks across US, EU, ASEAN, Middle East, and China

AI Security: Help customers securely adopt GenAI while managing unique AI-era risks — from data privacy in Bedrock to agentic security post-Mythos

Incident Response: 24/7 cross-organizational security incident response team that handled incidents in 2025 with <10-minute average response time

Security Services GTM: Drive security services adoption through workshops, campaigns, CISO engagement, and the Security Health Improvement Program (SHIP)

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• 6+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience

Preferred Qualifications

• CASP+ (CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner) or CCSP (Certified Cloud Security Professional) or Cloud+ or CSSLP (Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional)
• Knowledge of software development tools and methodologies
• Knowledge of AWS services
