Amazon is looking to hire an experienced, innovative, hands-on, and customer-obsessed Field and Design Engineer that can drive expansion in our Last Mile Delivery network. As a member of the Japan Amazon Logistics Engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the physical launch and modifications to Amazon's logistics buildings.

You will own the design, planning and implement the construction milestones and budget for new launch site and existing site modification with coordination of external and internal stakeholders, and will grow to lead the design, optimization of Delivery station layout, Material Handling Equipment and Construction project management of our existing and future Logistics network.

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of industrial engineer, operations engineer, manufacturing engineer, or project engineer in a manufacturing environment experience
• Bachelor's degree
• Business level proficiency in both Japanese and English

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of AutoCAD, VBA, and SQL at the intermediate level
• Experience working with and managing third party vendors
• Experience with Six Sigma, lean manufacturing
