Risk and Compliance Solutions (RCS) is seeking an incredible Senior Product Manager to lead the product strategy and execution for second line of defense (2LoD) compliance technology and tooling to help Amazon manage risk and regulatory compliance at scale.
In this role, you'll own the product roadmap for RCS's core compliance services, translating complex customer needs into clear requirements that can be met through scalable and automated solutions. You'll partner closely with compliance officers, risk and assurance managers, and engineering teams to transform manual processes into efficient, user-centered products.
To be successful at CV screening, you MUST demonstrate having worked with use cases applicable to compliance and/or risk management functions. We will specifically look use cases involving ) automation of horizon scanning, 2) risk/breach management, 3) deploying GenAI to maximize testing capabilities, and/or 4) automation of regulatory reporting submissions to regulatory bodies.
Key job responsibilities
- Product Strategy & Roadmap
- Define and drive the product strategy for RCS's compliance technology services, including Themis (GRC platform), Single Pane of Glass (horizon scanning capabilities), EOS (assurance monitoring and testing capabilities), and our 2Lo
D Data Lake:
- Partner with business stakeholders and engineering leadership to translate RCS's technical vision into detailed, prioritized product roadmaps
- Requirements & Delivery
- Work backwards from customer needs — compliance officers, risk managers, business teams, and auditors — to define features that simplify complex compliance processes
- Develop comprehensive business requirements and detailed specifications that meet their use cases while optimizing for user experience and operational efficiency
- Lead the product discovery process, including customer research, competitive analysis, and market research to identify opportunities for innovation in regulatory technology
- Stakeholder Partnership & Adoption
- Build deep partnerships with compliance officers, risk managers, legal teams, and business stakeholders across multiple regions to understand pain points and requirements
- Drive adoption of compliance solutions through effective change management, training programs, and stakeholder communication
- Measurement & Continuous Improvement
- Create and maintain product metrics and KPIs that demonstrate the effectiveness of compliance services in reducing risk, improving operational efficiency, and enhancing user satisfaction
- Establish feedback loops with users to continuously improve product usability and effectiveness
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience as a product manager or owner
- Experience owning technology products
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
- Knowledge of financial services regulations and compliance frameworks
