Safety Training and Legal Compliance Specialist, Workplace Health & Safety

Amazon IST2 Fulfillment Center is seeking a WHS Training Specialist to join our Workplace Health & Safety team. This role is critical to ensuring IST2 meets Turkish legislative requirements for safety training delivery and legal safety expert assignment under Türkiye Occupational Health and Safety Law No. 6331.

Key job responsibilities
Training
Design, develop, and deliver 12 hours of mandatory legal safety training for all new hires prior to Day 1.
Plan and deliver 12 hours of refresher safety training for all existing employees.
Maintain training records and documentation to demonstrate compliance with Turkish safety training regulations.

Safety Legal Compliance & Gap Analysis:

Monitoring legislative changes and interpreting regulatory updates
Conducting periodic gap analyses against all applicable OHS regulations

Legal Documentation & Archive Management:

Establishing a structured documentation system for all WHS compliance records
Managing archival and retention per Turkish legal safety requirements
Document version control and digital archive for regulatory correspondence

Basic Qualifications

• Türkiye B Class Safety Expert Certificate
• Training of Trainer Certificate
• Strong Microsoft Office Skills
• Strong English Skills
• Türkiye B Class Safety Expert Certificate

Preferred Qualifications

• BS degree in engineering
• NEBOSH IGC is an asset
• At least 5 years working in H&S in a logistics operations or similar industries.
