Amazon’s mission is to be the most customer-centric company on Earth. To get there, we need to develop leaders who represent, and can innovate, on behalf of a diverse and demanding global customer base. The Global Procurement Organization (GPO) identifies and procures goods and services at the best value for business, maintaining the quality of products and ensuring that alternative sources of supply are available. The Social Responsibility (SR) and Human Rights program drives customer trust and business continuity by ensuring respect for the rights of workers throughout Amazon’s supply chain and operations. We uphold company standards and expectations (such as Amazon's Supply Chain Standards and Human Rights Principles), and seek to constantly improve the tools and processes that we use in doing so.
