Program Manager Join our India Packaging team to drive transformative initiatives in Package Zero charter. In this role, you will lead strategic initiatives focused on cost reduction, carbon footprint reduction to attain 2040 climat pledgethrough data-driven decision making. You will develop and implement packaging recommendations using analytical deep thinking to ensure zero defects while maintaining strong governance mechanisms across the supply chain.
Working with cross-functional teams, you'll manage and lead strategic roadmaps from 3-year planning to full execution, and collaborate with leadership to drive structural improvements across the package zero program.
Key job responsibilities
Manage and prioritize packge zero programs that impact multiple organizations, leading cross-functional teams to deliver measurable cost reductions and operational improvements
Develop data-driven recommendations for packaging configurations, to conduct dive deep on packge zero defects through analytical deep thinking and rigorous quality standards
Build and maintain strong goverance mechanism alongwith understanding on impact on Cx and surface insights, track metrics, and enable data-driven decision making across packaging operations.
Lead the USI charter for Package zero intergation alongwith monitoring, correcting and governance.
Partner with stakeholders across supply chain, finance, and leadership to drive investments and strategic decisions that positively impact packaging P&L and sustainability goals
A day in the life
Your day begins reviewing key performance indicators across package zero identifying opportunities for improvement. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance projects, balancing Cx and cost requirements with business priorities. Throughout the day, you'll analyze data and brong insights to scale the program YoY to inform strategic decisions, participate in stakeholder meetings to align on initiatives, and drive execution of ongoing projects. You'll also dedicate time to developing innovative solutions that improve customer experience while reducing costs and environmental impact.
About the team
The India Packaging team is dedicated to driving long-term improvements through strategic packaging interventions enhancing customer experience and defining mechanisms to reduce cost to serve. With focus on implementing product and business intelligence innovations that improve supply chain efficiency, measured through enhanced customer satisfaction, cost reduction, or advancement of our sustainability ambitions. We work collaboratively across multiple functions to capitalize on opportunities that optimize packaging processes and contribute to Amazon's Climate Pledge commitments.
Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of program or project management experience
- 3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
