Job Description This role utilizes analytical skills to create a comprehensive estimate of damages for 1st and 3rd party material damage claims leading to the proper disposition.
National General Insurance is seeking a Field Auto Claims Estimator to support our South Carolina and Georgia region.

The ideal candidate already holds a South Carolina appraiser license, resides in one of the following counties (Hilton Head, Beaufort, Barnwell, Allendale, Orangeburg, or Colleton), and can travel between South Carolina and Georgia to support our customers.
- Key Responsibilities
- Applies thorough understanding of regulatory compliance and fair claims practices
- Builds established relationships with both internal and external customers
- Exhibits proficient estimating fundamentals in order to create estimates of damages on 1st and 3rd party material damage losses
- Processes a deep understanding of the content of all policy types written by the company
- Negotiates settlements, makes settlement payments and documents all activities in the file within escalated authority limits compensation offered for this role is $24.76 -$37.14 hourly and is based on experience and qualifications. Total compensation for this role is comprised of several factors, including the base compensation outlined above, plus incentive pay (i.e. commission, bonus, etc.) as applicable for the role.
