Join our dynamic Milan Design Center as a** Product Validation Engineer** in our High Voltage Business Unit. Our HVP team is at the forefront of the e-mobility revolution, developing advanced gate drivers and power management solutions that enable the safe and efficient control of high-voltage systems in electric vehicles and industrial automation.

In this role, you will be at the heart of our mixed-signal semiconductor development, ensuring that our next-generation products meet the highest standards of excellence and customer requirements. What You’ll Do

• Validation Execution: Perform hands-on bench evaluation and characterization of advanced mixed-signal products in the lab using state-of-the-art electronic equipment.
• Program Development: Assist in developing custom hardware and validation test programs for both automated and manual bench evaluations.
• Data-Driven Insights: Analyze measurement results and contribute to the consolidation of data into comprehensive product evaluation reports that drive design improvements.
• Collaborative Support: Partner with project team members to execute rigorous test, evaluation, and qualification plans.
• Solve Technical Challenges: Participate in multifunctional teams to address specific technical hurdles, applying your problem-solving skills to real-world engineering scenarios.
• Continuous Learning: Master Allegro’s specialized validation methodologies and internal tools, gaining deep exposure to the full semiconductor product lifecycle.

Who You Are

• Educational Foundation: You hold a Bachelor’s degree (BS) in Electrical Engineering.
• Technical Knowledge: You have a fundamental understanding of analog and digital circuit design principles and a solid grasp of statistics for data analysis.
• Programming Skills: You are familiar with programming languages and automation frameworks such as Python, LabVIEW, or NI Test Stand, with an interest in using them for test automation and data processing.
• Collaborative Mindset: You possess strong communication skills and thrive in a multifunctional, team-oriented environment.
• Language Proficiency: You are fluent in English (both written and spoken), enabling you to collaborate effectively with our global engineering teams.
• Detail-Oriented: You have a keen eye for detail and a passion for high-quality engineering and data integrity.

Nice to have: 1) Hardware Design Awareness: You have hands-on experience with schematic capture and PCB design tools such as Altium Designer (or equivalents like OrCAD or Ki Cad), enabling you to contribute to the development of custom validation boards, socket cards, and bench fixtures.

2)Test Instrumentation Expertise: You have working knowledge of the National Instruments (NI) ecosystem, including PXI/PXIe modular instruments (SMU, DMM, oscilloscope, digital pattern, switch matrices) and Test Stand-based sequencing, with the ability to integrate them into automated bench setups for mixed-signal IC characterization
