Position Summary:

We are currently seeking a motivated, hands-on Grocery Supervisor. This full-time hourly position plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of the grocery department. The Grocery Supervisor will assist in overseeing daily activities, supporting associates, maintaining inventory and merchandising standards, and delivering outstanding customer service. This position reports directly to the Grocery Manager.

Pay Transparency: The pay range is $20 to $24 per hour, but no less than the local minimum wage. Starting rates may vary based on things like location, experience, qualifications and the terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement. The total comp package yearly can include 12 days PTO, 40 hrs of sick time, 401k match of up to 7%, Pet insurance, EPA benefits, 30% discount, and so much more!

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Grocery Manager in daily operations of the grocery department

• Supervise and train grocery team members, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures

• Maintain in-stock levels through accurate ordering and inventory control

• Uphold merchandising standards, including signage, pricing, and cleanliness

• Provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer concerns in a professional manner

• Monitor product freshness, rotation, and quality

• Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation guidelines

• Lead by example in fostering a positive, team-oriented environment

Qualifications:

• Previous grocery or retail supervisory experience preferred

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Excellent organizational and time management abilities

• Customer-focused with a passion for delivering outstanding service

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods

Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
