Main responsibilities:

DELI CLERK

Main Responsibilities:

• Provide courteous, personalized service to customers, including handling complaints and promoting a positive shopping experience.

  • Prepare and sell custom-sliced deli items, hot and cold foods, salads, and party trays.

  • Maintain cleanliness, visual appeal, and inventory levels of the deli case and work area.

  • Operate deli equipment such as slicers, ovens, fryers, and food processors safely and efficiently.

  • Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures.

  • Receive and organize product deliveries, verify invoices, and rotate stock to ensure freshness.

  • Engage in suggestive selling and promote deli products through customer interaction.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and food safety regulations.

  • Perform all duties with honesty, accuracy, and integrity.

Pay $17.00

Starting rates will be no less than the local minimum wage and may vary based on things like location, experience, qualifications and the terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement. Dependent on length of service, hours worked and any applicable collective bargaining agreement, benefits include healthcare, sick pay, PTO/Vacation pay and retirement benefits (pension and/or 401(k) eligibility).
