Pay Transparency

The pay rate is $24.75 - $26.75 per hour, plus $2/hr extra for each hour worked after 4pm, but no less than the local minimum wage. Starting rates will be no less than the local minimum wage and may vary based on criteria such as location, experience, and qualifications and the terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement.**Candidates with unique qualifications may be considered for compensation above this range. **Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, sick pay (accrued based on hours worked), PTO/Vacation Pay (accrued based on hours worked) or Flexible Time Off, paid holidays (8-9 days annually), bereavement pay, and retirement benefits (pension and/or 401k eligibility).  If applicable: Associates in this position may be eligible for a quarterly bonus. ​

What you will be doing

The Pharmacy Technician at the Central Fulfillment Center is responsible for working in a closed-door, fast-paced pharmacy facility on a production line. They are responsible for filling prescriptions under the direct supervision of a pharmacist. The Pharmacy Technician will work with prescription filling automation technologies and semi-manual/manual workstations to ensure the accuracy and completeness of orders and maintain a continuous and consistent workflow to help meet team goals.

The position is based in Ridgefield, WA. The schedule will be 5 days per week, 1st Shift. Hours will be Sunday through Wednesday 6:30am - 3:00PM, Sat 8-4:30PM.

Main responsibilities

• Follow and promote proper Pharmacy, general safety and security procedures and processes of the company.

• Use scanning and counting technologies to identify and select appropriate pharmaceutical products and quantities for filling prescription orders.

• Assist with maintaining the pharmacy system and technologies: monitoring inventory and supply levels at the responsible stations, calibrating machines, escalating technical issues, and working as a team to reach team goals.

• Create and maintain documentation as requested.

• Manually fill prescriptions as needed.

• Verify attributes of the product such as: size, strength, quantity, etc. before processing orders. Enter or scan expiration date and lot numbers.

• Ensure labels on prescriptions are correct.

• Prepare packages, sort, and manifest prescription orders if needed.

• Stock and rotate merchandise and supplies to limit shrinkage if needed.

• Assist Inventory Technicians as requested. Participate in Inventory Audits as needed.

• Other duties as assigned concurrent with all applicable laws and regulations.

We believe the successful candidate has these qualifications and experience

• Required:

• Pharmacy Technician License in Washington.

• Ability to preserve confidentiality of patient information.

• Preferred:

• A national Pharmacy Technician Certification.

• Technical Experience:

• Central Fulfillment Pharmacy Technician experience.

• Prefers to work in a closed-door environment (no adjudication, customer interaction, phone work.)

• Good computer skills.

• Good math skills.

Physical Requirements

• Willing and able to stand/walk at least 8 hours with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Willing and able to perform tasks which include pushing, pulling, grasping, bending, stooping, rotating, reaching, and lifting/carrying up to 40 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Visual focus such as counting, observing, etc. is required consistently.

• Performing repetitive tasks up to 100% of the time
