High School diploma or equivalent.  Graduate of building related vocational - technical programs are preferred.Minimum of three years recent experience performing maintenance work in building related trades.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Able to perform duties with a high degree of accuracy and care to avoid structural breakdowns.Abel to respond to direct and radio requests as soon as possible.Able to maintain proper neat uniform appearance.Must be computer literate.Must possess a valid driver’s license.If state law requires, must possess a valid boiler license.Ability to read and comprehend manuals, prints, and work orders.Knowledge of tools and equipment maintenance.General record keeping skills.Customer service orientation and sensitivity to diverse needs of coworkers, employees, and other persons contacted in the daily course of work.Ability to work independently
Must be able/willing to transfer into Local union.Must be willing to work overtime on weekends, holidays, and after hours (after 3:30 PM CST) when on call.Uses various hand and power tools to securely build assigned projects.Fits and installs doors, door frames, door hardware, interior and exterior trim using necessary power tools and materials.Responsible for constructing varies tasks from scratch such as lock up boxes.Perform a variety of administrative tasks such as: ordering material and writing purchase orders, expense receipts, and data entry for work reports via i Phone app.Maintains a neat, clean and safe work area and drop location (Material ordering).Responsible to make daily checks on all materials that were on order.Manage communications for completed service calls in a timely manner as required.Performs all duties in a timely, efficient, & professional manner.
