Why choose us?Are you ready to take the next step in your career? Join us for an exciting opportunity at Albertsons Companies, where innovation and customer service go hand-in-hand!

At Albertsons Companies, we are looking for someone who’s not just seeking a job, but someone who wants to make an impact. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to lead, innovate, and contribute to the growth of a company that values great service and lasting customer relationships. This position offers the chance to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment that’s constantly evolving.

Albertsons is looking for a Senior Product Manager, End-to-End Instrumentation to lead the strategy, roadmap, and execution for our digital instrumentation capabilities. This role will own the product vision for how user interactions and business events are consistently tagged, captured, governed, and activated across digital experiences.

The ideal candidate will drive requirements and cross-functional alignment for automation around tagging and instrumentation, ensure front-end data capture is implemented accurately and at scale, and enable trusted downstream data for analytics, reporting, and decision-making. This role will focus on understanding the digital analytics requirements across Albertsons and create a unified system that will automate tracking, and the corresponding analytics work for each request. This development will include identifying and implementing opportunities for automation and AI that can scale E2E instrumentation. This role sits at the intersection of product management, digital engineering, analytics, and data platforms, and is critical to building a scalable foundation for measurement across Albertsons’ digital ecosystem.

You will work closely with cross-functional partners—including Business, web/app teams, Data Engineering, Data Science, Marketing, Loyalty, media collective, and Health & Wellness teams—to translate business problems into actionable product roadmaps and AI-powered solutions.

Main responsibilities:

  • Define and own the product strategy and roadmap for end-to-end instrumentation across web and app experiences.
  • Lead requirements for automated and scalable tagging frameworks that reduce manual effort and improve implementation quality.
  • Partner with engineering, architecture, analytics, data engineering, and business stakeholders to design instrumentation solutions that are accurate, resilient, and extensible.
  • Establish product requirements for front-end event and attribute capture, including standards for metadata, event naming, taxonomy, and data quality.
  • Ensure instrumentation supports key use cases across reporting, funnel analysis, experimentation, personalization, and performance measurement.
  • Drive alignment on how instrumented data flows from digital touchpoints into downstream reporting and analytics platforms.
  • Create and maintain a clear instrumentation governance model, including event definitions, ownership, QA expectations, and release readiness.
  • Identify opportunities to automate tag deployment, validation, monitoring, and issue detection.
  • Prioritize platform capabilities that improve data consistency, reduce implementation gaps, and accelerate time to insight.
  • Translate business measurement needs into clear product requirements, acceptance criteria, and delivery plans.
  • Partner with teams to define success metrics and ensure instrumentation enables trusted KPI reporting.
  • Support change management and adoption by documenting standards, training stakeholders, and building shared understanding across teams.
  • Define requirements and support the development of robust, scalable data pipelines for ingesting, processing, and serving customer and enterprise data.
  • Maintain high standards for data quality, lineage, security, and performance across all integrations.
  • Present product roadmaps, progress updates, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and executive audiences.
  • Translate technical concepts into clear, business-relevant narratives.

We are looking for candidates who possess the following:

  • 8 plus years of product management experience, with meaningful ownership of analytics, instrumentation, Mar Tech, data, or platform products.
  • Experience defining event-based tracking and instrumentation requirements across digital products.
  • Strong understanding of front-end data capture, tag management concepts, event schemas, and analytics implementation patterns.
  • Experience working closely with engineering and analytics teams to translate business questions into measurable technical solutions.
  • Familiarity with data quality, governance, and taxonomy design.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives across product, engineering, analytics, and business teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to document requirements and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and building structure in evolving spaces.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with digital analytics platforms, tag management systems, customer data platforms, or event streaming ecosystems.
  • Experience in retail, e Commerce, omnichannel, loyalty, or customer experience measurement.
  • Familiarity with experimentation frameworks and measurement strategies.
  • Experience with instrumentation QA, monitoring, and automation at scale.
  • Knowledge of privacy, consent, and data collection considerations in digital environments.

Skills

  • Exceptional ability to define and communicate product vision and translate it into actionable execution plans.
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership abilities.
  • Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences effectively.

Key Competencies

  • Strategic and innovative thinking in enterprise platform solutions.
  • Technical depth across data platforms, and instrumentation.
  • Ability to influence, drive adoption, and scale enterprise-wide capabilities
  • Strong bias for action and ability to operate in complex, evolving environments.
  • Experience with building AI solutions or building capabilities that leverage AI
