The starting salary is $31.02 hourly. Starting salary will vary based on criteria such as location, experience, qualifications, and the terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement.
The position will be based in Richmond, CA. The schedule is swing shift, Hours varies from 12 pm to 10 pm.
Food Production- Sanitation Associate (Bread Plant):
Responsible for all tasks related to food production, handling of finished products and sanitation.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ability to operate processing equipment like mixers, dividers, ovens, and packaging machines safely and efficiently.
- Ability to follow all sanitation standards operating procedures.
- Ability to clean machinery and equipment safely while following work procedures, such as ‘Lock Out Tag Out’ etc.
- Ability to work safely with chemicals, which includes chemical handling, usage and application.
- Ability to follow verbal and written English instructions.
- Ability to push - pull and lift weights up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand, bend, squat and walk for extended time.
- Must be able to work from ladders or at other high surfaces.
- Must be able to work in fast pace, wet, hot and cold manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work 5 days or more as per business needs.
- Be able to work flexible hours, weekends and overtime as necessary.
- Should be able to show up to work in time.
- Ability to use electronic gadgets like i Pads.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Ability plus willingness to work and learn.
- Food production experience a plus.
- Working knowledge of food processing, sanitation in food production is plus.
