Job Description:

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Flight Warning System Designer(f/m) to join our System Cockpit & Avionics Platform Engineering Design based in Toulouse, France.

You will be part of a team developing the warning systems on our commercial aircraft, paving the future of cockpit displays and the road for autonomy and automation. As part of the avionics platform and cockpit system team, you will be involved in Cockpit Systems development, responsible for specifications, full development including Verification and Validation activities, and monitoring suppliers and flight test center activities aiming at the implementation and certification of the System.

Your challenges:

  • Contributing to functional requirements convergence at the upstream level and delivering technical specifications and System Interfaces Documents.

  • Driving the development process including supplier reviews, laboratory and flight tests, and certification activities.

  • Promoting agile methodologies for efficient co-working with multiple key internal stakeholders like architects and safety specialists.

  • Leading transverse applicative or verification and validation activities for specific products.

  • Supporting the safety analysis throughout the product lifecycle.

Your boarding pass:

  • Solid professional experience and deep knowledge in Engineering, particularly in Cockpit or Avionics Systems development.

  • Strong technical expertise in hardware and software design, including IT systems.

  • Advanced level of English for daily collaboration in an international environment.

  • Proficiency in collaborative tools (Confluence, Jira, Google Workplace) and Agile program management frameworks (SAFE).

  • Strong analytical, synthesis, and stakeholder management skills.
