Airbus is looking for a Lead Software Engineer -Full stack to join in Bangalore, India, to design IS/IT Architectures on Cloud & On-Premise, to support Tolerancing for Airbus Digital.

Qualification & Experience:

Engineering graduate with 8-10 years of experience in engineering software applications (Design, development, infrastructure setup, support etc).

3-5 years of experience designing and building complex IT systems on Cloud (AWS, Open Shift, GCP).

Strong knowledge on Cloud by design, Cybersecurity is a must.

Good Experience working with Cloud platforms (AWS) is required.

Handson experience in EAMR and Application design

Designing cloud&on-premise solutions architecture.

Strong Knowledge of microservices architecture design

Ability to think and develop solutions to leverage sustainable IT by design.

Strong knowledge of building core solutions with an emphasis on Database, Data Lakes etc.

**Advanced knowledge and experience (3-5 years) of Enterprise Architecture modelling methodologies like TOGAF.**Ability to generate Architecture documents/dossier

Experience in React JS is good to have.

Experienced in working within a product delivery lifecycle and awareness of software quality management awareness

Hands -on experience in programming languages (Python, C++) is desirable and database (MongoDB,MySQL, PostgreSQL).

Strong understanding of technical concepts, application frameworks & design principles.

**Knowledge on CICD,**DevOps, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker, Containerization & orchestration is desirable

Lead high quality, enterprise scale software products teams

Drive technical discussions and explain options/choices to technical and non-technical audience

Deep understanding of coupled, decoupled, loosely coupled architectures.

Being Cloud & DevOps certified is a plus

Awareness on working in Agile Scrum and/or Kanban projects

French language knowledge will be an added advantage

Having some knowledge on manufacturing tolerancing concepts is good to have.

Responsibilities:

Designing the architecture of highly available, scalable, maintainable, monitored applications (frontend & backend) for business needs both On Premise and Cloud(AWS, GCP, Open Shift).

Strong knowledge of building core solutions with an emphasis on Database, Data Lakes etc.

Utilise advanced knowledge of Enterprise Architecture modelling methodologies like TOGAF

Work with stakeholders to understand the Architecture of existing/new applications.

Ability to use any application description document to feed the Enterprise Architecture repository and generate the Architecture requirement dossier

Prepare and present the Architecture/Decision dossier to Cybersecurity teams for verification and validation.

Designing cloud&on-premise solutions architecture. Implementing database per cloud computing design, architectures and data lake.

Respect GDPR & Export Control rules on data constraints while designing/proposing the database architecture.

Designing the architecture for Cloud, DevOps & CI/CD platform

Industrialising highly available, scalable, maintainable, monitored solutions

Drive technical discussions and explain chosen options and strategies

Ensure that security and network compliance rules are respected

Estimate & optimise products cost

Coach the team, share knowledge & teach best practices about Cloud, DevOps, CI/CD, Q&A, application performance monitoring.

Ability to “broadcast” & explain ideas and present architecture to relevant business and stakeholders

Lead the team towards a successful product delivery.

Ability to understand customer’s expectations and communicate the technical aspects/decisions to the customer in an understandable way.

Travel

Willingness to travel for long & short term to Europe
