Job Description:

An opportunity for a Composite Tooling Engineer has arisen within Airbus Commercial, Cádiz.

The selected candidate will join the Jigs&Tools Team:

The Airbus Cadiz Jigs&Tools department is in charge of all the tools related with the following technnologies: Composite Materials and Automatic Assembly.

The team is in contact with several stakeholders, from Design Office to Workshop Production, including Programs, Quality and Manufacturing Engineering, among others.

The jobholder will reinforce our composite tooling workforce, and will be involved in several projects currently developed in the composite area.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The jobholder will be responsible for:

• New tooling for R&T projects

• Managing subcontrated engineering and tooling suppliers

• The sustaining of the tools for current serial projects, meaning analyzing arising production issues and working together with the area multifunctional team in order to find root causes and propose/develop solutions

• Education:

Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering degree.

• Experience:

At least 5 years in Composite Tooling/Materials

• Soft skills: High adaptability to work on new topics and in a networking mode.

• Languages:

Advanced level in English.

• Technical knowledge: advanced level of CATIA

• Valuable / Nice to have:

experience in additive manufacturing will be valuable
