Responsibilities - your mission:
Airbus has built on its strong European heritage to become truly international with roughly 180 locations and 12,000 direct suppliers globally. The company has aircraft and helicopter final assembly lines across Asia, Europe and the Americas, and has achieved a more than sixfold order book increase since 2000
Position Summary: The Procurement Purchasing Assistant manages ordering activities for Procurement Commodities within France, Germany, Spain, the UK and Portugal. This also includes operational sourcing activities following the Procurement processes and strategies.
Essential Functions:

Review of Purchase Requests (PRs)
-
Purchase Order (PO) creation / update and follow up of POs
-
Operational Sourcing
-
Service Desk activities (provide support to internal stakeholders)
-
Maintenance of info records (e.g. catalogues)
-
Communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders (internal customers, buyers)
-
Use of Airbus ERP Systems (SAP)
-
Use of other specific tools (Coupa)
Requirements - our ideal candidate will have:
-
Experience in Supply Chain and/or Procurement is a plus
-
Communication skills
-
Be customer focused, understand priorities = knows how to prioritize in case of emergencies
-
Eager to learn to work with new tools / be open to change and to continuous improvement
-
Fluency in English and French
-
Enjoy a dynamic and multicultural environment with a lot of different tools and variety of products and services

Shows a lot of reliability rigor and concentration at work
