Aeronautical Production Engineer: Paint Shop

Key Responsibilities:
Plan & follow-up painting activities.
As a member of the painting team, you will be focal actor between AHE (Operations and Service & Support) and painting subcontractor, collecting AHE painting activities needings and ensuring the deliveries on time & quality from the subcontractor. (Planning)
Workprepa (data pack for subcontracted production activities). Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality, consistency, and completeness of all technical documentation deliverables related to the AHE needings.
Management & support painting subcontractor:
Blocking Point Resolution (PPS/8D): Proactively analyze and resolve technical or process "blocking points" that could halt production.
NC Board leadership: Non-conformities management, analysis of root-cause and implementing preventive solutions
KPI Tracking: Report work progress, monitor Key Performance Indicators (OTD, OTQ, OTC) and escalate critical issues for arbitration when necessary.
Continuous improvement Plan: Proactivity and creativity solving improving the performance of the department.
Management of paintshop costing.
Painting quotation management: You will be in charge of reviewing and approving subcontractor quotations, creating purchasing orders and ensuring the on-time costing process.
You will monitor costing and support financial department, providing periodically product cost, updating new quotations and performing prevision of expenses.
Other functions.
Part of the Painting MFT along the Airbus Group, possibilities to know other sites and new technologies.
Supporting internal and external customer for technical issues, proposing technical solutions to ensure customer satisfaction.
Coordinator of maintenance and industrial means activities of the department, ensuring the availability of them with no impact to production needing.
Your Profile:
- Engineering degree is required.
- Valuable at least 2 years of experience in aeronautical sector.
- Understanding of materials, surface preparation and painting process principles would be
desirable. - Proactive, curious and rigorous, enthusiastic and constant. Recognized as a great team player.
- Ability to manage tight deadlines whilst maintaining attention to detail.
- Great energy, capable of staying focused in high-activity contexts.
- Ability to anticipate problems.
- High-level dialogue.
- Flexibility and an open-minded attitude towards change. (Adaptability).
- Effective communication in Spanish and English is required. French and German would be valuable.
- Health and safety knowledge on chemical topics will be an advantage.
