Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain software for robotic systems using the C/C++ programming language.

  • Participate in the full software development life cycle, from requirements gathering and design to implementation and testing.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Simulation, Computer Vision, Robotic Hardware, and Software Developers to integrate software and hardware components.

  • Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation related to software design, implementation, and testing.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to software, network interfaces with legacy systems, and hardware.

  • Research and implement new technologies and techniques to enhance software quality, performance, and reliability.

  • Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team, ensuring effective collaboration and clear communication of technical concepts to management and team members.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in C/C++ software development.

  • Strong programming skills in C++, with a focus on object-oriented programming and design patterns.

  • Deep understanding of SoC principles, system architectures, operating systems, device drivers, memory management, multithreading, and real-time scheduling.

  • In-depth knowledge of real-time systems and concurrent programming.

  • Proficiency in scripting languages, particularly Shell and Python, for developing and maintaining software tools.

  • Expertise in using software development tools, such as compilers, debuggers, design tools, and version control systems.

  • Experience in software development on both Linux and Windows platforms.

  • Experience with ROS1/ROS2 is considered a significant plus
