SECURITY CLEARANCE: Must have or be able to obtain UK Eyes Only SC Security Clearance via the UK Intelligence Community (UKIC) process.

We are looking for an IT Support Engineer to join Airbus Defence & Space at our Newport Site. We have a new opportunity for an entry-level IT professional to work with our expanding support team and receive mentoring from our highly-experienced experts.

Each day will be different, responding to different customer queries and issues on multiple products and where required, investigating and reproducing reported problems with other members of the team.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM

• Supporting Airbus Cyber Security’s cryptographic products protecting critically sensitive National and Commercial information

• Supporting users and maintaining equipment on internal and external classified networks

• Assist in the management of Incidents through the process lifecycle

• Triaging faults and reproducing in a System Reference Model

• Patching and subsequently testing the systems to ensure there are no issues
