Job Description:
You’ll be part of a team building our next-generation services for commercial aviation customers. As part of our software engineering team, you’ll continue to enhance functionality for dispatch, performance, scheduling, tracking, documentation and/or weather.
Main responsibilities:
-
Full stack development, maintenance, and testing on new and existing apps and services in a cloud environment.

Independently own and drive the implementation of complex technical features, from design documentation through deployment.
-
Mentor and guide the work of junior and intermediate team members, nurturing their growth and development.
-
Serve as a technical subject matter expert, leading technical designs, performing code reviews, and driving best practices and operational excellence standards across the organization to ensure high-quality, scalable solutions.
-
Propose and lead initiatives that align with NAVBLUE's business goals while encouraging team collaboration and engagement.
Experience and education:
-
At least seven (7+) years of professional experience developing software with .NET, C#, AWS or equivalent backend technologies.
-
Experience working with frontend technologies such as Vue.js and Typescript or similar.
-
Experience leading a team of software developers.
-
Strong technical communication skills, ability to share concepts to various audiences.
-
Ideally, holding certification as an AWS Cloud Practitioner or AWS Certified Developer or be willing to earn certification within the first year at NAVBLUE (supported and funded by NAVBLUE).

You have a College Diploma or Bachelor's Degree within the software engineering area of study or equivalent professional experience.

Proficiency in English
