Job Description:

At Airbus Chile we are looking for a highly organized and proactive Direct Shipment Officer (DSO) to join our team in Santiago. As the heartbeat of our local operations, you will be the vital link between the airline’s main base and our global repair network. This is a unique opportunity to work on-site at a customer facility, managing a complex supply chain while representing the Airbus standard of excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • End-to-End Logistics:

Manage the shipment of components from the airline's base to repair stations, coordinating closely with designated freight forwarders.

  • Quality & Technical Assurance:

Perform visual inspections of components and packaging. You will validate removal reasons and ensure all technical documentation (e.g., Post Flight Reports, Unserviceable tags) is accurate.

  • Data Integrity:

Maintain precise records in the Information System, updating aircraft configurations and component histories to ensure 100% data alignment with the customer.

  • Global Collaboration:

Act as the strategic interface between the customer and Airbus teams in Toulouse and the Americas region (Brazil & USA).

  • Operational Excellence:

Support Continuous Improvement initiatives by implementing Practical Problem Solving (PPS) locally and identifying gaps in the "unserviceable loop" performance.

Who You Are:

We are looking for a customer-oriented professional who thrives in autonomous, fast-paced environments and possesses a "quality-first" mindset.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Language: Fluent English is a must. You will communicate daily with international stakeholders in a multi-lingual environment.

  • Experience:

Background in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Aviation maintenance operations.

  • Tech-Savvy:

Ability to manage complex IT systems and maintain rigorous data entry standards.

A strong sense of belonging and the ability to work effectively across different cultures (Americas and Europe).

Ability to manage priorities under tight deadlines and resolve roadblocks before they impact the business.
