Job Description:

A vacancy for Standardization and Standard parts qualification Engineer has arisen within Airbus DS. The position will be based in Getafe.

For this position we seek a highly motivated individual to contribute to the Electrical Standardization activities of the department for ADS programmes.

The successful candidate will join TADAP6. This job position is for open minded and dynamic persons that want to work in trustful and funny environment and with working colleagues in other Airbus sites in Europe.

Main tasks and responsibilities will include:

  • Manage the Standards Selection Lists and prepare, release and maintain updated the Technical standards and validate/manage the external standards required for the design/production of ADS programmes in the field of Electrical standard parts.

  • Support the qualification of electrical standard parts and managing of associated documentation. (Qualification test plan, Qualification Test Reports, Qualified Product List…). Support supplier selection and supplier qualification and provide support to internal and external audits.

  • Provide support in standardization to Design, Procurement, Manufacturing and Services for the whole life cycle of the aircraft. (New standard parts for design and manufacturing, standards queries, resolution of reception discrepancies, assess standard parts related non-conformances and provide solutions as well as provide support for in-service issues and obsolescence topics …).

  • Standardization digitalization: Contribute to digitalize standards & all its processes during its lifecycle,: standard parts, materials tables, Surface Protections, etc.

  • Participation in project standardisation WGs and/or MFT´s (Multifunctional team) related to electrical standard parts so some business trips are expected.

Skills required: We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

  • Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering.

  • English advanced level.

  • Spanish advanced level.

  • Experience in electrical design or manufacturing engineering.

  • Ability to work in international teams.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and team work spirit.

  • Background in AGILE ways-of-working.
